The TPL Systems Birdy WP Alphanumeric POCSAG Pager is ruggedly designed for dependable use in severe working conditions. The pager holds an IP67 rating from the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) who classifies and rates the degree of protection provided against dust and water intrusion. An IP67 rating means the Birdy WP Pager is completely dust tight and does not allow ingress of harmful quantities of water when tested for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter. Included with each Birdy WP POCSAG Pager is a belt clip and lanyard.
The TPL Systems Birdy WP Alphanumeric FLEX Pager features a strong and robust design for use in both normal and extreme operating environments. Each Birdy WP FLEX Pager is shipped with a belt clip and lanyard.

The pager has all the features of the Birdy WP POCSAG Pager with the additional ability to be used in potentially explosive atmospheres. The Birdy ATEX has an IP67 rating that indicates a high degree of protection from both dust and water intrusion into the pager. A plastic holster and lanyard are included with each WP POCSAG ATEX pager.
The TPL Birdy WP Charger with Antenna is similar to the TPL Birdy WP Charger, but has an additional built-in connector for external antenna operation. The primary purpose of the WP Charger with Antenna is to improve message reception in weak signal strength locations while the pager is charging. Although the Birdy WP pager is shipped with a standard “AA” battery as the power source, there may be situations where a rechargeable battery and charger would be a better solution.
